This mediterranean restaurant has a beautiful outdoor patio, amazing food and drinks, and is located right on South Congress. Reservations are highly recommended as this spot is very popular.

South Congress Ave (SOCO) - Aba is a Mediterranean restaurant originating from Chicago’s historic Fulton Market District. Aba, meaning father in Hebrew, incorporates Chef CJ Jacobson’s lighter style of cooking with influences from the Mediterranean, including Israel, Lebanon, Turkey, and Greece. The bar program, crafted by Liz Pearce, showcases rare Mediterranean-inspired wines and spirits. It has an incredible atmosphere with great music, a beautiful finish out through the space, and an extraordinary outdoor patio! Definitely book in advance!

On south Congress with very good Mediterranean food and an amazing atmosphere. It does get very busy so I would recommend putting your name on the waitlist and then taking a stroll up and down the infamous S. Congress street until your table is ready

Having opened just last year, Chicago-based Aba has quickly become one of the most popular restaurants downtown for Mediterranean fare. The ambiance is impeccable and the mezze-style shared plates will have your mouth watering as soon as they arrive; they have six different types of hummus, and the freshest house-made frozen Greek yogurt around.
