Barolo is known around the world for its fabulous wines. Cradled between the Ligurian Apennines and the Po River, the fertile soil nourishes a range of ancient grape varieties, producing Barolo wine from juicy Nebbiolo grapes.
In barolo you will find a beautiful borgo to visit and you can taste all the best Piedmontese wines including one of the most known in the world which is barolo, without forgetting the barbaresco, nebbiolo, dolcetto, barbera and ruchè!
King of Wines or Wine of Kings - If you never heard about it, now is time. The small village is only 12 km from Dogliani and perfect for a bike ride or just a walk, be prepared for hilly terrain, but also amazing views :) Once there, not much to see besides the castle or perhaps the museum. Instead you may just breathe in and enjoy the magnificent views of the surrounding wine fields, while sipping a glass of Barolo and enjoying a pizza, Risotto or an espresso doppi :) Must SEE !

Barolo is about a 20-minute drive from the property and is well worth the visit. Small, picturesque hill town with great restaurants and some wineries to visit. The wine museum just opened and might be worth a visit. (The corkscrew museum is not worth the entrance fee, in my opinion.)
