The Moutan Botanic Centre is home to the world's largest collection of tree and herbaceous peonies. Visit it in May when all the peonies are in flowers.

These acres of Chinese Peony trees are a delight in April and May when the land is a blaze of colour and perfumed with an amazing variety of of peony blooms. The restaurant is open for lunch but there is a cafe open all day. 0761 300 490. centrobotanicomoutan.it About an hours drive and near Viterbo and the Terme dei Papi.
