Expansive complex featuring a museum, interactive displays & ships telling the story of sea travel.
This is where I go swimming. It's really beautiful here and has a ton of stuff to do if you don't want to jump in the freezing water.
I would be remiss if I didn't recommend this wonderful little historical park where you can climb aboard and tour historic sailing and steam ships--it is where I work! Don't miss the free Visitor Center across from Hyde Stret Pier as well! You will learn a lot about the waterfront history of SF!
