Coho Cabin, is located at the old fishing town of Pillar Rock . Cannery not viewable from cabin but only short walk. Each guest has an opportunity to tour the Pillar Rock Cannery, originally established in 1877. Lewis and Clark also camped here and documented they first saw the ocean. Located on the banks of the Columbia River, the cabin has absolutely fantastic views! View and enjoy a beautiful sandy beach, with access from the cabin. Upstream is a stunning view of historical Pillar Rock.

The patio boasts one of the best views in town- the Astoria-Megler bridge and the mighty mouth of the Pacific Ocean. Enter with your passcode and you'll be welcomed by the parlor’s 10-foot ceilings. Your river view, two-bedroom suite, shower/bath and laundry are up the stairs. This landmark home was built in 1875 and is named for Captain Eric Johnson, a Swedish immigrant and riverboat pilot. The kitchenette has a microwave, mini fridge, hot pot and coffee maker. Owner lives onsite per city code, though there are no shared spaces. Astoria Homestay Lodging: 21-03.

The home is located in walking distance to the Goonies House, Pier 39, the Astoria Riverwalk and hiking trails. It is a 35 minute walk or 5 minute drive into downtown Astoria and a quick 25 minute drive to the beach.
