Cozy Mountain Hermitage Cabin

A single dwelling fully furnished well insulated cabin available for monthly seasonal rental. Located in a pinon/pine forest on 3 acres with hiking and biking trails right outside the door. Full size bed, fully equipped kitchen,BBQ/patio, high speed internet, dish TV. 10 minutes to Taos Ski Valley. 10 minutes to village of Arroyo Seco. 20 minutes to Taos Plaza. Must be comfortable sharing a bath house with other guests on the property and heating with a wood stove. May need 4WD/AWD if it snows.

Guests that have stayed at our Inn included Georgia O'Keefe, Ansel Adams, Willa Cather, DH Lawrence, etc. We have two big beautiful lawns in the back of our Inn with clear sunset views of Taos Mountain. We serve a delicious Gourmet Free Breakfast. The Love Apple, (A+ restaurant), shares our driveway and is walking distance for dinner.

Sleeps three comfortably, one king bed in the master, a daybed in the main living area. Plenty of room to spread out in the kitchen-dining area. Not suitable for children. The Rock Art Retreat

It was built in the early 1800s by Spanish settlers and over time has been stunningly remodeled. Enjoy the courtyard and mountain views out the French doors, which open onto our park-like grounds. This room includes air conditioning, flat screen TV with VCR/DVD and free WiFi. A dog-friendly room with additional fee (sorry, no cats).
