Guest will have access to a private entrance and a private bathroom area that includes a composting toilet and outdoor shower (seasonally May - October). We are a family of four living the good life on our small working farm and The Cottage is our vacation rental nestled into the center of our property. Complete with it's own driveway and nicely fenced off from the rest of the busy goings on of the barnyard, it is separate from our space, but animal sights and sounds are sometimes a part of the experience.

The property is situated on the upper East Fork of the Bitterroot River. Mountains surround the area, the river is a few minute walk away, and wildlife is everywhere. While there are neighbors, it is a remote location. There is so much to do right outside the door and even more adventures with a little driving. The shop is 24x48 and is full of fun. It includes a mini basketball court, a regulation height basketball hoop, a high quality ping-pong table, and a foosball table.
