The first thing that any visitors say is ‘that’s someview’, hence we named it SomeView. Up to four guests plus a baby can relax in a beautiful scenic area. Standing 600 feet above sea level with approximately 20 Donegal mountains in view. We are set in a quiet country road with easy 10 minute access to City of Derry airport and the city centre. It’s also only a short distance to some of Walkni’s recommended short walks - Ness Park, Beechill Woodland, Muff Glen to name a few.

Minutes from the Wild Atlantic Way, Ballycannon cottage is a great choice for exploring Donegal’s many wonders.

If you are looking for a romantic getaway or somewhere you can relax and recharge, our property is ideal for you. We have breath taking views right from the doorstep, in a very scenic part of the countryside. We are just a short drive from Dunfanaghy with a number of beaches near by. Our private Hot Tub is included with unlimited use all year round to our guests. We have local recommendations in our guide book but we are available and happy to answer any queries you may have.

The house was fully refurbished in the Spring of 2019 and now offers a superb contemporary space for guests to use as their touring base for the city of Derry, the Causeway Coast and the fabulous Atlantic coast of Donegal. Pellipar Gatelodges

The main Pellipar Gatelodge and the smaller sister Gatelodge are beautifully restored 18th century Gatelodges to Pellipar House which allows private walks and cycling through the avenues of the main woodland estate. Enjoy salmon and trout fishing on the River Roe which flows through the Estate. Stunning views of the River Roe, fields and surrounding countryside are to be enjoyed from the elevated living and sun-room areas.
