Unique living space attached to our covered riding arena. Approx 1500 sf area with plenty of parking in a very rural area close to hiking and swimming or rock climbing at Hanging Rock State Park, and Pilot Knob, as well as floating the Dan River or just relaxing watching the horses play in the paddock, enjoying roasting hot dogs or smores over the fire pit. Private property on our farm with many amenities, including Wi-Fi, full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, gym available. Very relaxing place!

Escape to the Hideaway Cottage with its unique atmosphere and decor. We are across the street from Hillbilly Hideaway restaurant. This world famous restaurant is family style all you can eat dining . Also offering live music in the music hall and shopping in the antique shop. The cottage is a few miles from Belews Lake, where you can enjoy the scenery or use the public boat ramps. We are 17 miles from Hanging Rock State Park here enjoy swimming or hiking. Numerous wedding venues also in the area

No running water inside, 5gallon jug provided. (No AC/full power without generator. Bring your own or rent one for a small fee)

We are five minutes from restaurants, a library, gift shop, gallery and Hanging Rock. There is plenty to explore in this quaint area, so your stay can be as relaxing or fun-filled as you’d like.

Sycamore Hill Cottage near Hanging Rock/Dan River

Sycamore Hill cottage is perfect for a couple, family, or a group of friends. (Also a peaceful solo retreat!) It is one big living space with a king bed, double futon, fully equipped kitchen, bath, and laundry. Guests have access to 38 acres of woodlands, trails and the cottage gardens. Big Creek is easily accessible, clear, and has great shallow sections for kids or just hanging out. Just minutes from Hanging Rock State Park, the bike trails on Moore's Springs Road, and the Dan River.

The Rock Retreat

This beautiful log cabin, previously known as Indian Creek Cabin, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock Community for many years. It began as the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center. The property is adjacent to the Indian Creek Trail area. It is within a few miles of the Lower Cascade Falls, Dan River, Moore's Spring bike trails, and of course, Hanging Rock State Park. Adventure awaits with ziplining, kayaking, canoeing, and river tubing excursions within minutes of the front door.
