Creekfront Retreat w/ Hot Tub & Sunset Views

Tucked away along a quiet, scenic creek, this home sleeps up to 9 with 6 beds and 2.5 bathrooms. It’s the ideal spot for families or small groups. Enjoy the water—take out the kayaks or jon boat, go fishing, or swim right from your backyard. As the sun sets, gather around the fire pit, sway on the swings, and take in the stunning views that give this place its name. Enjoy the 7-person hot tub or unwind in the spacious living room. This charming retreat has everything you need to feel at home.

Sunny, private 2nd floor suite at the river's edge features panoramic views of the Rappahannock and surrounding farmland. Take in fiery sunsets, sunrises, starry skies, eagles, ospreys and more. Swim, fish, explore waterways by kayak, or bike in tranquil, rural surroundings. Morning coffee on the balcony with the songbirds is a treat, and the riverfront deck, surrounded by trees is sublime. Restaurants, historic sites, hiking, fossil hunting, wineries, antiques & more are a short car ride away.

Waterfront Guesthouse II on the Rappahannock

The “Beach House” is a guest cottage at Snug Harbor, a 2 acre private property overlooking the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. Perfect for a couple’s getaway, this well-appointed cottage has beautiful water views and includes access to our private beach & dock (with guest slip) with use of our paddle boards and kayaks. The cottage’s 1st floor features an open liv/din/kit area, full bath with large shower and a covered patio. The 2nd floor features a large loft bedroom with a queen bed.

On a private “nature reserve”, this is the perfect place to unwind & recharge. Inside, you'll find a comfortable king bed & kitchenette (no stove). The cozy living area has a smart TV, great for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Enjoy coffee on the private deck or immerse yourself in nature before heading out. Great spot for road trippers! This is a spacious apartment above detached garage, with a roomy balcony. The property sits on the Rappahannock River- guests are welcome to use the beach and dock! Property has a private entrance. The bathroom which is located on the first floor. Apartment is up a flight of stairs above the garage. Plenty of parking. EV charger available. We have self check in and the host is extremely flexible.. We welcome all tenants! The Birds Nest is a perfect getaway destination for relaxing and fun.

Park in the carport and go upstairs (21 steps) to enjoy privacy, convenience, and safety - with kitchenette, small washer/dryer, smart TV, desk, and exterior cameras. Ashland, less than three miles south, has restaurants (many), grocery stores, laundromats, a movie theater, a public library, churches, a post office, and Randolph Macon College. King’s Dominion and Meadow Event Park are six miles north.
