It is not a freestanding cabin. There is a porch area with a table and two chairs right outside the door overlooking landscaping near the main parking. The Highlands is an adult-only property.

Owned by a mother and son duo since 1989, the Inn has undergone a renovation that has brought it into the modern era. Our brand-new, ultra-luxurious 5 room hotel stands proudly in the heart of downtown Calistoga. These suites boast plush furnishings, custom-made designer furniture, and a color palette aimed at promoting rest and relaxation. Our rooms are equipped with kitchenettes featuring induction cooktops, refrigerators, dishwashers and offer queen sleeper sofas as well. PLEASE NOTE: This historic building spans two floors, and the hotel is situated on the second floor with no elevator access.

We offer great accommodations for family and friends coming into town because we offer more space than your typical hotel room. CHECK IN FOR DORM ROOMS MUST BE BETWEEN 4PM AND 8PM. We are located in a quiet, secluded valley 15 minutes from Point Reyes Station. There are two separate dorm rooms and bathrooms which are typically assigned by gender. This room is a dormitory and will be shared with other people. There are two shared bathrooms in the building and a large living room. You will also have access to the kitchen and dining room in the main lodge and all outdoor areas.
