Welcome to our private, cozy suite, Country Star. A sunny walkout basement apartment with patio and easy parking next to entrance makes coming and going a breeze. Country Star features a kitchenette, with table and chairs, one bedroom with queen bed and closet, and a full bath/shower. It provides comfortable space for two, with extra space for a pack-n-play or fold out lounge chair/bed for a third person. (See note in 'other'). This garden apartment is tucked into a hillside above a creek, along the Jewel Vinsota Sculpture Trail. Your host/gallery curators live upstairs. The “Artist’s Guesthouse” is next door. The private entrance is down a stone-stepped path. Perfect for 2 w/ the queen bed but room for 3 w/ the living room futon. Fully equipped kitchen. Private charcoal grill and fire pit next to the creek.

Stay in the masterfully crafted Lemuel Chenoweth homestead along the rippling Tygart river. Built in 1857, this 2nd floor suite offers antiques furnishings, a private entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and mud room. It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more. We do not offer a TV. Near Elkins.

The Inn at Dewberry. Our roomy studio apartment is located in a quiet friendly neighborhood just 4 miles from downtown historic Fredericksburg. For traveling medical personnel, Mary Washington Hospital is less than 4 miles away. Our area is rich in Civil War history with lots of great places to dine, shop, or catch a Fredericksburg National game at the ballpark. Close to I95 for a trip to Washington, DC (60 mi) or south to Richmond. Kitchenette but no stove. Microwave.
