A quiet 17 acre, ONE room cabin set on a private small lake, fishing, swimming, and kayaking. Equipped with a full kitchen, a grill, 4 OUT DOOR showers, no showers in cabin. Sleeps 4, 1 QUEEN SIZE BED AND 1 PULL OUT HIDE-ABED. There is a $25/PP per day for extra guests , with prior approval by host. Pet friendly. Mountain home: like in the movies, on 50 acres. Includes soaring mountain views, swimming holes, hiking trails, ATV trails, fishing creek, mini white sand beach, hot tub in a cave, huge boulder rustic fire pits, cave, lake, cabanas, all in a heavy forest exclusively for guests. Private: you cannot see another house from the front porch or back decks and it has thick woods all around. At the top of the property are soaring views with 3 miles of visibility. No need to go to the national park.

The Cottage

Need some time to refresh? Spending time in the foothills of the Skyline Drive at our cozy cottage may be for you. Well behaved dogs are welcome but not on furniture. The driveway is long and home is very secluded. Winter access will be subject to weather conditions. Driveway does not get plowed and gets rutty during rainy periods. Cell service is spotty on Browntown road. The cottage has a landline and wifi. Use your wifi calling feature for cell phone use. More info under photos.

The Forge on Sunnyside Farm

Sunnyside Farm offers a luxurious stay in a beautifully restored historic forge. You’ll be greeted by the farm’s delightful hosts, Jimmy and Dean, two friendly Potbelly pigs. Beautiful cows forage right outside your door. The Forge features exposed wooden beams, brick walls, and cozy furnishings. The interior is designed with plush bedding, a fully equipped kitchen, and spacious living reminiscent of yesteryear. Breweries, wineries and famous antique stores nearby offer entertainment.
