Spectacular sea views in quaint Kalk Bay

The sea views from our airbnb suite (2 bedrooms and a lounge) are fabulous. Behind us is the mountain reserve and in front lies the wide expanse of False Bay. Down below on the rocks is a natural tidal pool, safe for swimming. We are close to Kalk Bay fishing harbour, the quaint Kalk Bay village, several other tidal pools (perfect for cold swimmers!) and Fishhoek & Muizenberg beaches. We have newly renovated and enlarged our Airbnb space which is now separate from our living space and private.

Cape Point Mountain Getaway - Cottage

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

Plumbago Cottage

A beautiful , separate entrance flatlet with magnificent views of the ocean over False Bay. Spacious, light and stylish , with quirky touches to make you feel at home. Situated within walking distance of beautiful beaches .We are a 10 minute walk to the Boulders Beach penguin colony and 20 minutes walk from restaurants and historical sites in Simon's Town .The flatlet is attached to our home yet totally private with own entrance via a pathway flanked by plumbago and views of the mountain.

Cairnside Studio Apartment

This new studio apartment is situated in the quiet exclusive suburb of Cairnside Simon's Town and enjoys stunning views over False Bay. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette with a 2-plate stove with mini oven, along with a combination microwave and Nespresso coffee machine (pods included). Free WiFi (40mps) and 50'' TV with Netflix, Spotify and a sound system. The apartment is SOLAR POWERED so NO ELECTRICITY BLACKOUTS. Close to some excellent eateries, beaches and a tidal pool.

Ocean’s Echo is my home-away-from-home - a piece of paradise in Cape Town’s Southern Peninsula, that has views spanning the entire False Bay coastline, from Simon’s Town to Muizenberg. I’ve lived in Cape Town my entire life and am able to offer advice, give ideas for itineraries, and provide insider tips on restaurants and attractions in the Mother City. Nestled in the exclusive area of Cairnside, this semi-detached house offers the perfect place to enjoy beautiful views of False Bay and is less than 5 mins from the local beach and tidal pool. One of our favourite past times is watching the water activities from the sheltered deck. Whale spotting, kite surfers jumping in the bay, sailing regattas and flocks of birds migrating along the coast. The sun rises across this side of the bay, if you're up early you'll be mesmerised by the view.

Endless Views & Privacy

Our studio apartment opens up onto a 40sq meter balcony with a panoramic view of the Hout Bay Valley and the Helderberg mountains beyond. Large sliding doors disappear into the walls creating an unimpeded indoor/outdoor flow while the elevated position protects your privacy. The open plan bathroom faces onto an enclosed secret garden which includes a frame-less glass shower. The unit has a fully equipped kitchenette and is serviced daily except weekends and public holidays.

Our Rock House is something special! It has been recently built from stone found on the property. Watch spectacular sunrises over False Bay and the beach and tidal pool are a short walk away. Lovely and cosy in winter as well, with a wood-burning stove. The Rockery apartment consists of an open plan living room and kitchen leading out onto a wooden deck and two en suite bedrooms. There is secure off-street parking for one car and a braai area with a view.
