Relax with the whole family in this peaceful place to stay. We're only 30 minutes from the centre of Christchurch, about 1 hour to Porters Ski Area or Mount Hutt or 15 minutes from The National Equestrian Centre at McLeans Island. This is a family lifestyle property. We have horses, alpacas, kunekune pigs, chickens and dogs. Bring your horse. There is grazing with easy access and parking for trucks and floats. Situated on the Inland scenic route [High way 72] and only a short drive to Mount Hutt ski field and the Ashburton Lakes /Lord of the Rings country.For a longer drive Geraldine is only 30 minutes away and the Gateway to the beautiful Southern Lakes . The cottage accomodation is totally private set in a beautiful garden setting in the grounds of the historic school house built in 1876. 20 minutes to Methven and 1 hour to Christchurch international Airport. Not suitable for infants/children.
