It is the oldest neighborhood in the city. it is beautiful and unique area and the architecture styles that includes Dutch colonial, Georgian, federal and Victorian. Walking around the stockade is always fun no matter what time of the year. Riverside park is down the street. My favorite the sunset by the Mohawk River. Biking is so accessible and the bike path is near by.

There are working livestock guardian dogs who watch over the herd who will greet you from behind the fence.
