Our property is located on 40 acres and has a distant, but beautiful view of Lake Superior. We are on the edge of thousands of acres of county land. The perfect escape!

In the morning, enjoy coffee on the private porch, go snowshoeing, hiking, fishing, or canoeing in and around Brule River State Forest in the afternoon, and watch a few movies in the evening. This house is adorable. A modern, clean & cozy feel, this house has a great view of a historical home to this community. We are just blocks from Balsam Lake beach/boat landing, the brewery, the bar, a barbecue place, a play park, baseball field & basketball court. When booking this home for the price, keep in mind that you get more than 1 room with space to just relax and enjoy with family or friends. The house is not perfect but has been remodeled and updated in several ways.

Off Grid Lakeside Yurt

Welcome to our lakeside yurt! This yurt is on 24 acres of private land with thousands of acres of public land connected. This site overlooks the lake which is wonderful for exploring, we do offer a canoe with booking. We provide basic lighting, wood stove, fire wood, a hand pump well in walking distance, an outhouse, and a wood fired cast iron hot tub. We are always happy to answer questions and lend a hand. We know this area really well and can offer suggestions and guidance.
