Wonderful breakfast, if you call ahead, they are very accommodating to set up in their outdoor seating for a dog along. And breakfast is amazing, splurge your calories on the biscuits & sausage gravy!

Best Cuban pork north of Florida (that I’ve found)!! About 30-45 minute drive, depending on traffic, but if you’ll be going through/near Simpsonville, is definitely worth a stop. Also great selection of sandwiches and other special dishes, don't forget the sauces (white sauce is our fave!), and for a treat, try the Cuban coffee and desserts!

Best ice cream in the world, in our experiences, anyway! The wait can be long; SO well worth it, for their handmade ice cream. You pick either vanilla or chocolate & huge choice of add-ins. Kids love!

Our favorite, and in our opinion, the very best sushi restaurant anywhere in the Upstate. This is in downtown Greenville.
Great selection of sushi along with hibachi and noodle dishes, lovely atmosphere & always impeccable service.
Closest off-street free parking is at the Richardson Street garage; it’s only 1 1/2 blocks away and is free on the weekends and on weeknight evenings.

For a unique experience, you *must* try this local coffee shop that has been part of downtown's revitalization. Of all of the local restaurants, this is the one that I always recommend and always take visitors to, one family or friends from out of town come in.

Regionally famous, the Swamp Rabbit Trail is a converted rail line and runs from Traveler's Rest down through downtown Greenville. There are places to rent bikes to ride, and you're always welcome to jog or walk down the trail. You can find several different places to rent bikes from for the whole family.
It is about a 15 minute bike ride from the Airbnb space, to the swamp rabbit trail.
