A covered market place where you can buy and eat all sorts of foods. Get yourself a cheese platter and a strong beer from the "Kaapse brouwers". Sit outside near the water when the weather allows it.

de Witte Aap: most likely the most famous bar in the street. Don't miss it, it's great, a wide variety of people go there; on a Friday or Saturday evening everyone is in heat :-)

Great place for a sunny afternoon/evening. An outside only bar that has tasty bears and BBQ, frequented by the local hipsters.

A wooden bridge starting near Biergarten and ending in the Pompenburg parc connecting two parts of the city divided by the train tracks and busy street. Paid for by crowdfunders, I was one of them :-)
