The old highway is such a beautiful and close drive. Tons of hikes all along. Vistas of the Columbia River which divides Oregon and Washington. Multnomah Falls! A truly spectacular natural phenomenon.

Only 1.5hrs away from town is the Cannon Beach. Probably the most popular beach town, but drive south on 101 to Manzanita. Much more quaint, with Hikes and Surfing along the way!

A ski resort in the winter. The exterior of the lodge is where they shot Kubrick's The Shining. Only about an hour or so away, and you'll have a true Oregon mountain experience. Mt Hood!
