There is a serious amount of Surinam-Indian-Chinese take-away shops in Rotterdam. Fast food, but with healthy options, so as legendary Saoto soup. This place serves Indian dishes too and is ridiculously cheap. Friendly people. (West-Kruiskade hosts a whole range of Surinam eating places.)

Not many people know this place, unless you are Eritrean. It says GEZANA on the entrance door. Yes you are welcome there, just go, really! It's a very local neighbourhood hangout that serves DELICIOUS Eritrean food. Incredibly cheap too.
