Drinks & Nightlife

Located along the main block of Changkat Bukit Bintang, Havana Bar & Grill is a restaurant and nightclub that celebrates the Latin American spirit. Looking like a colourful Cuban-style hacienda in a tropical rainforest, it is set in an elegant 1950s mansion and divided into three bright and colourful areas – the main outdoor bar, back patio, and upstairs lounge. Even if you are not the type to get down to the beats of the club’s salsa music, you will be foot-tapping the night away to the sounds of samba, bachata and disco hits – additionally, a live salsa band and dance shows on certain nights keep partiers moving till late. The vibe here is relaxed and intimate, and besides island-inspired drinks, the kitchen serves up a mix of Cajun classics and Louisiana Creole specialities

Parks & Nature

Kuala Lumpur's Bird Park is the largest of its type in the world, with 20 acres of free-flight aviary for its inhabitants to enjoy. Around 3,000 birds live in the park, from small and vibrantly colored parrots to the impressive Indian Blue Peacock with its magnificent 5-foot long tail. There’s a show each day at 12.30, and bird feed on offer so the kids can treat the locals to a meal. Aside from the free-flight area, there is a special aviary for the parrots. Another separate space features rare Oriental birds, like the Greater Bird of Paradise and three different species of toucan. There’s also the hornbill park, and a flamingo pond where you can watch the gorgeous pink creatures patiently standing on one leg sunbathing.
