CVS sells just about everything you might need for the bathroom, cleaning, etc. It also has a pharmacy in case you need to pick up a prescription. Just a 10 minute walk from our place.

Our kids think this is the best ice cream shop around and we agree. Less than a 10 minute walk from our place you'll find the most amazing and unconventional (but sooo good) ice cream flavors at a small and family oriented ice-cream shop.

Fantastic Japanese BBQ style restaurant. This place won't disappoint. So much so the only caveat is that it's always packed and you might have to wait a while to get a table. Best food and beer at a happening place less than 10 minute walk from us.

Best and most affordable Chinese food (cantonese) around here. Lots of goodies at a very traditional style place and the service is great. They have parking but you are about an 8 minute walk if staying with us.

Best place around for a breakfast or coffee. They also serve lunch. The owner is great and we've been going there since they opened many years ago. The food not only great but it's organic and everything is super healthy. They make great deserts (the cobblers are to die for) and coffee, omelets, etc. A must. But you'll probably have to bicycle or drive there (about 5 minute drive from our house).
