North Foreland Beach is our own private beach only accessible by others on the estate, unless the tide is out and then you can walk along the beaches of most of the Thanet coastline, from either direction. Tide times online or in a little yellow book in the flat inform you when you can get on the beach! If you time it right you can be the only one on the beach for half an hour with no access either way unless someone on the estate has the same idea! Perfect!
The next bay along towards margate is Joss Bay, featured here on the map.

Food Scene
The Morelli family has been making ice cream for five generations to a trademark recipe which was introduced into the UK in 1907, when Giuseppe Morelli, after emigrating from Italy, started selling it from the back of his bicycle.
From bicycle to van
He and his young son, Mario, left home early in the morning with fresh ice cream and would not come home until they had sold out! Eventually, the bicycle was replaced by a van and the business grew.

Superb fish and chips and a variety of other meals at a very reasonable price. Basic restaurant with excellent service we make a point of having a meal in here whenever we are in Broadstairs....one of our favourite places to go!

The Royal Albion has a beautiful spot overlooking the Viking Bay Beach, where you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner or simply a coffee or afternoon tea. It has a lovely decking area outside overlooking the hustle and bustle of broadstairs and is well worth a visit.

Fantastic situation overlooking the Bay, serves all sorts and regularly hosts weddings due to its size and direct access to the beach . Worth a visit even if just for a cuppa!

Fantastic pub and midway between Broadstairs and Margate for a little break for a wine or beer, and perhaps some sweet potato fries!! Dog friendly too.

A perfectly traditional old style cinema, which is a family run business and still retains its many original features, including the old fashion ticket stubs you used to get in the good old days. Please support it and go and watch a film while you stay in beautiful Broadstairs!!
