Vermont St. is actually the Real Crookedest Street in San Francisco, not Lombard! If you drive or walk up the hill to its peak 1.5 blocks away, continue south on Vermont you will enter the crooked section just past the crest of the hill. Vermont has greater sinuosity and more curves than its much more famous cousin.
