You get there from the bridge on El Oro st., close to Domingo Comin av. Spend a half day crossing the bridge to the island and doing the nature walks. Or rent a bike.

The spot available on Google Maps is not 100% accurate as the Malecón streches for about 2km from the Cerro Santa Ana. Take a walk along this boardwalk and take in the river.

The artesanal market is the place to buy handicraft stuffs in Guayaquil. Notice that this city is the commercial hub of Ecuador. So unless you are a tough negotiator, you'll likely overpay.
