This boulder field is hidden deep within the woods of this Hickory Run State Park is a 16,000-acre park in Carbon County, very close to Jim Thorpe. The park features some incredible hiking trails, such as the popular Shades of Death Trail and the beautiful Hawk Falls. But a really cool thing to see is Boulder Field. Created during an ice age, Boulder Field is located is hidden deep within the woods and is 16 acres of boulders. It is the largest boulder field of its kind in all of the Appalachian Mountains. The field can be easily reached via a drivable access road or via a 3.5 mile hike.

The Mansion was the home of philanthropist, railroad magnate, and founder of Lehigh University, Asa Packer. Built in 1861 by Philadelphia architect, Samuel Sloan. They offer amazing tours of the mansion.
