This beach entrance on the Maryland/Delaware line is just 4 blocks away. An easy walk, or park for free on the MD side or for $10 on the DE side. Best chance of snagging a spot in peak season is early in the day, or after 3:00pm.

The Fenwick Island State Beach is a 5 minute drive away, with lots of parking, a snack bar, changing rooms with showers, and a dog friendly section of beach. $10 parking for the day.
