Not really a zoo, but there are a ton of farm animals you can visit! This is a great local spot open on the weekdays for families. Pay $5 to give yourself a tour among the horses, sheep, chickens, and gardens. Kids love it, but I've gone by myself!

This is our local climbing gym! It's a great place to try climbing for the first time with instructors, let your kids play, take a yoga class, or put up some hard sport routes. It's up to you. They also have a boulder outside that you can play on for free if you sign a waver!

This is an awesome bike path in both directions! Hope on the bike trail on 26th (1.5 blocks away) and you can go to the nature preserve on Havana, or go West all the way up to the confluence of the Sand Creek and the Platte River. That's about a 2 hour round trip.
