A city of culture with a vibrant feel. If you want a bigger and brighter city, why not head to Bristol for a day. Its about an hour away from the cottage but is definitely worth the trip if you have kids who want to do some indoor activities. There are indoor climbing walls, crazy golf, Bristol Zoo, Bristol Aquarium, HMS Belfast, and so much more. Its definitely on the list for a rainy day.

Art and culture in a Georgian Building, what more could you ask for? Oh! throw in some gorgeous gardens for the kids to run around or for a casual stroll like a character out of Bridgerton visiting Lady Danbury's and you've got a winner of a destination. It has some fantastic displays, a LOVELY cafe/restaurant and even some kids workshops to amuse the little ones and get them learning about art.

Parking

There are a number of car parks in Bath, the most central is Charlotte street, a short walk from the Crescent. It's also extremely complicated to get into and out of. I think its a deliberate move to get you to stay longer... :) Southgate car park is a covered car park with additional security. Alternatively there are Park and Ride car parks located on the outskirts of the city which are sensible options.
