This is a lovely well maintained wildlife reserve park area. You can pay to access the main facility, tour area & climbing wall or you have free access to the larger pond area and surrounding walkway which has a lovely playground. This spot is a firm favourite with my family. Perfect spot for little ones on scooters and to have a play in the playground. Worth a trip in, and you could be lucky enough to see the swans.

Tralee Bay Wetlands

The Aquadome is a fabulous day out. Great fun for all the family, big kids included. It is a little pricey but worth it as you will easily spend a few hours here. The Aqua Dome has lots to offer a good mix of little slides & big twisty water slides, something for all ages. Aqua Dome
The Aquadome is a fabulous day out. Great fun for all the family, big kids included. It is a little pricey but worth it as you will easily spend a few hours here. Denny StreetThis is a lovely museum to pass a little time in. Lots of local history, brave antarctic explorations, fairy trails, glamorous ball gown exhibits, something for everyone really.

It has separate toddler sections, a bigger kid section, a long decent zip line, a good selection of slides, swings round about etc.
Its a great place to burn off some extra energy on the kiddos.
As with any large town playgrounds it can be prone, at times, to being a hang out for older kids which can ruin the atmosphere. This is just my own personal experience. 9 out of 10 times there is no issue. Don't let that put you off paying avisit I just wanted to ensure I give an honest account.

This is a great day out for all the family. My own children love it.

Nightlife
Seán Ógs Bar is well worth a visit. Its a bar I personally love.
Great music, great atmosphere and its new renovation takes you on a hidden quest through the inners of the buildings. Nothing you would guess from the street.
It will take you from Sean Ógs front door through to the old "beer garden" and bring you right out into Mc Caffreys pub further up the street.
Enjoy the trip! It's a great spot on a night out.

Tralee Town Centre
My best advice for exploring Tralee town centre is do it on foot.
Between 9am and 6pm the centre is pedestrianised so it gives you the opportunity to make the most of outdoor dining and quiet exploration through the shops without traffic.
Sometimes new visitors can miss the heart of Tralee by not realising it is blocked off to cars during the day.
Best advice is park up the car and enjoy a stroll. It's the best way to discover our town.
