The waterfall is a bit of a downhill hike to reach and will require walking through some water, but well worth it!

Neighborhoods
This neighborhood is very safe and walkable. There is a park, sevier park, on one end with a playground and open space for a picnic. Parking is free at the park and free street parking on surrounding streets plus some paid lots. We have never had trouble parking on one of the side streets though. Lots of local restaurants, a coffee shop, cute local shops and more along this neighborhood. Also, the I believe in nashville mural is located here

We very highly recommend getting reservations well in advance for any restaurants that take them. Nashville is a popular city with a lot of fantastic restaurants so without a reservation you can expect long wait times.

Parking
Lyft is often cheaper than Uber. Parking downtown can be expensive so we recommend taking an Uber or a Lyft. Some areas do have free parking such as midtown (May be hard to find though on busy weekend days or nights), Hillsboro (sometimes hard to find free spots), 12 South, Germantown, the Nations. Areas hard to find free parking: Downtown Broadway, the Gulch, demonbreun street. Meters are free after 6pm and all day in Sunday’s and most holidays - they should say on the meter.
