City/town information
Fantastic town, with small town friendly feel. Lots of restaurants, from tapas to formal, steak to vegan, fish or pizza and most styles in between. Still has a very traditional feel, and a good mix or modern and historic. The old square with the church has many busy streets converging. The busy pedestrian precinct has lots of cafes that are buzzing each morning. The town is well kept with flowers always in bloom, and streets jet-washed regularly so a very pleasant walk can be had.
The beachside paseo is about 10 mins walk from the town centre.
The new wavy pedestrian bridge can be stunning when the sun is setting. Created after the town's underpass was built, taking the vast majority of traffic away from the town centre.
Plenty of children's play areas to keep them amused

The perfect climb for those road cyclists who want to test their legs, and lungs. 1050m climbing from coast, then the option to continue to Ronda, or down into Pujerra, or the smurf village. plenty of routes available, all quiet once you're away from the coast traffic
Also great roads for car driving fans and motorbikes. Access to the best roads in Andalucia and away from the busy coast road.
Ronda is 45km from the coast, with stunning and historic views from the gorge. Great stop to enjoy the town then return to the coast

The perfect climb for those road cyclists who want to test their legs, and lungs. 1050m climbing from coast, then the option to continue to Ronda, or down into Pujerra, or the smurf village. plenty of routes available, all quiet once you're away from the coast traffic

Huge number of fantastic restaurants off the side streets from Plaza de Naranjos. Also some good eats/bars on the paseo near to the port of Marbella. Less than 20e in a taxi from the apartment, or a 10minute drive -parking is usually underground but cheap. Public bus is every 30 mins or the water ferry from Banus can make a day of it
