Sightseeing

A strangely beautiful forest tucked in the highlands of Mount Brinchang, the second highest peak in Cameron Highlands. Blanketed with mysterious mist and shrouded in a magical aura, the Mossy Forest is located at an elevated position of 2,032 metres above sea level. It can be challenging to drive up yourself as the path is narrow and the surroundings can get very foggy, so its recommended to join a tour. The best time to visit the Mossy Forest is in the morning, when you can catch it shrouded in mist, giving it a gloomy, mysterious atmosphere that's great for photos.

Nestled at the back of the town at a small hill top, the Sam Poh Temple is the largest religious construction of the Cameron Highlands. Though primarily the temple is Buddhist in nature but one can find several brass statues of likewise religion inside. The greatest attraction of this temple is the Oriental architecture that designs the whole structure. Significant use of artefacts and designer construction are indeed admirable.
