Kapani, maybe the oldest open public market of Thessaloniki, is conventionally located in the heart of the traditional city,between Aristotelous Square, the port, and the Ladadika neighborhood of restaurants and live music venues.
At Kapani market you will find fresh produce, spices, olives, fish, and meat, some traditional coffee shops, bakeries, sweets and loukoumi shops, tavernas, meze (small plates) and ouzeri restaurants, clothes and more. Much of the market is on pedestrian streets.
