The Nangulvi Hotsprings are a two-hour drive from the farm through the back roads of sugar cane and dairy farms. During the week, you will most likely have the pools to yourself. Soak in one or all five pools of various tempuratures which are surrounded by lush mountain views.

Just fifteen minutes from the farm is the Tulipe Museum where you can learn about the Yumbo Indians who once inhabited this area and left behind five ceremonial swimming pools. They also built many "Tolas" or pyramids which were used as burial grounds. There is one right next to the farm in one of the neighbor's pastures.

The cloud forest is so green for a reason.....rain! Rainy season is October to May.
If you wish to hike on the farm, bring boots that can potentially get muddy!

It can be chilly in the mornings and much warmer in the afternoons with temps ranging from 55 to 80 degrees so be prepared! Long sleeves are also great sun protection.

The farm is 2 miles from bus service. There are buses to Mindo for less than $2 or you can hire transport. Cheryl can help you arrange that.
