Beautiful wooded lake area with hiking/bike trails, camping, fishing, etc. Nolin Dam is really cool to see. There is a parking lot right next to the dam. I recommend parking and walking around the area. I used to cat and trout fish here a lot as a kid.

I obviously recommend you staying at The Wander-Inn, but Rough River State Resort Park is a very nice place to visit. Hiking, Bike Trails, swimming and fishing, all in one spot.
