This nice, small beach is less crowded than the main beach of St Raphaël-Frejus, and as a bonus it has a *great* wood patio seafront restaurant (which we highly reccomend) just 5 minutes walk along the beach to the west, called L'épuisette Plage. we do reccoment booking a table!

Agay's stunning rastel rock hills and impressive railroad arch bridge make it a worthwhile alternative to visit once or twice. it has more than enough restaurants along the coast for an easy day trip.

Calanque St Barthelemy is a beautiful crystal clear water beach on the impressive coastal rock formations of the Esterel. you'll see far more sea life (fish, octopus, etc) here than at Frejus. Come early for some peace and quiet.

The base nature beach can be quieter than Frejus Plage and at those times it is great for kids to be able to roam further without you losing sight of them. It also usually has a longer shallow shelf of wading water than Frejus bay, so great for little ones.
