Noosaville is just 5 minutes drive from Noosa Heads and Hastings Street. A relaxed River vibe, it beckons early morning walks, coffee at one of the many cafe's and restaurants along Gympie Terrace. Anytime of day, the picturesque riverscape invites calm and relaxation. A river worth exploring by boat, or even paddle board, it winds north through Tewantin and up into our lake systems and everglades. Much to do on the river, there is a Ferry that leaves the Tewantin Marina and cruises down the river to Hastings Street, where you can disembark and discover Noosa Heads, Hastings Street, and our wonderful beaches and National Park.
There are also hire boats so that you can explore on your own, or hire a paddle board. Choices are endless.

Visit for the day, you will enjoy shopping, restaurants cafe's and sightseeing. If you are up for a little bit of adventure take yourself to Kondalilla Falls National Park. You can picnic in the park or take the trail down to to waterfalls and rockpools. Take a plunge if you're game as it is a little chilly.
A favourite of ours is the Flame Tree Hill Vineyard at Montville. Wine tasting and a restaurant overlooking the vineyards. A great destination lunch.

Peregian Beach is about a 10-15 minute drive from Noosa Heads. It is a small coastal town with a great beach, cafe's and restaurants, shopping and of course the Peregian Beach Hotel. It has a market once a month on Sundays.

About 20 minutes south of Noosa Heads is Coolum Beach. A great coastal town to visit that has a very good beach, great place for families. Cafe's, restaurants, ice-cream. A great town to visit and spend the day.

Bushwalking and Sightseeing
Noosa National Park is one of my favourite walking trails:- Tea Tree Bay through to Hell's Gates. (Strange name, but you will know why once you see it). You can go straight from Hastings Street, Main Beach and walk the boardwalk right round to the Park's entrance. Once you enter, the trail will take you through Tea Tree Bay and beyond. Grab yourself a map from the tourist information centre if you want to try all the trails in the Park. You can also take your car to the Park's entrance and park in the carpark. You may just want to hang out at Tea Tree Bay, take a swim and sit under a Pandanus tree and just soak in the wonders on nature. So much to enjoy here. Don't forget to look up into the gum tree's, you may spot our beautiful Koala's taking a nap. The round trip is about 5 km's, take water, sunscreen and a hat.

Food scene
Our favourite restaurant in Noosaville is Sum yung guys. The best Thai food you can find in Noosa. You will simply love this restaurant, it is walking distance from the South Pacific Resort, right near Aldi in the restaurants adjacent to the supermarket on Weyba Road.
Note: Book in advance before you travel as this restaurant is so popular you have to book at least 2 weeks in advance, but check the website below as you never know you may get in earlier. We have found that you can sometimes do a walk in and sit at the bar and eat there.
