Ok, so I get it, the building is older, not fancy, it lacks a little....BUT it is some of the best seafood (next to being at the bay eating it fresh). Amazing shrimp (huge), great fried catfish, love those hush puppies. They also have food for non seafood lovers.

Wow, wow, wow... you have to go grab some for breakfast, or better yet, pick some up tonight, and heat them in the microwave 15 seconds ...perfect with your coffee on our porch!
Kolache heaven, something savory or sweet for everyone, Kolache, cookies, muffins, brownies.... they also have a lunch counter great sandwiches, cheese trays, and full service station (gas etc)....
A must stop place!!

It’s a beautiful , peaceful drive. Great stops along the way! When your out there go ahead and head to ROUNDTOP , make a day of it with shops, restaurants, antiques, vintage boots, you name it.
Junk Gypsy visit along with a walk in Round Tops Henkel Square.

Come stroll the antique stores, have a glass of wine at the wine bar, grab a picture in fron of the Hope Floats house (sandra bullock movie) - this is a fun town with history and the place where lots of Texas movies and TV series have been filmed.

Wine cocktails
Great spot in Smithville, about 15 min from the house in Plum. Great ambience, stylish English style pub, great cocktails, margaritas and wine selection (for a small town outside the big city!). They also have a great chef, nightly specials, so check on FB, note the dinner specials sometimes sell out, so go early!
If you like sweet wine, you will love Meade - it’s great here, it’s a small venue, but great outdoor spaces to sit, relax and enjoy!! Plus they have more selections and tastings too... but their Meade is what they are known for!
