Fun day trip - about a 30 minute drive. Four or five blocks of shops, ice cream, restaurants - ending at Falls Park (a beautiful suspension bridge over the Reedy River). Don't forget to stop in the Mast General Store - your kids will love the "candy by the pound" in the back, the old books and old toys that you can't find anywhere anymore (like the Sally, Dick and Jane books!)

This Brewery is on a sweet piece of property. Even if you don't like beer, the visit is nice. Lots of outside area and a short walk down to the river. And THE best wings.... holy cow! Nice afternoon trip.

We probably eat here once a week! They have a menu with lots of variety, from chicken to seafood to steaks. MY favorite is the Peppercorn Filet - tell them not to butterfly it! It's on the menu at a great price all the time. And they have an entire board of Specials every day.

Nothing much to add here. Incredible architecture, incredible tour. Did you know that the National Art Gallery hid priceless works at the Biltmore during WWII? (https://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/local/article9097334.html). Plenty of shops and restaurants right off the Estate in the Biltmore Village. There is a Winery here at the Biltmore, as well as at least one restaurant. Beautiful gardens. Definitely a full day trip.

We are located in Inman, SC. The small towns of Inman, Boiling Springs and Landrum SC, are each about 10-15 in any direction. These are your closest "towns" for food and groceries and gas and pizza. Boiling Springs is a little larger and boasts a Walmart (Whoo hoo!). Spartanburg is about 20-25 minutes, and a much larger city.
