Sightseeing

It’s the nearest city to the apartment. The rural and very much Sardinian city is right in front of a large beach with crystoclear water named Rena Bianca. There is a castle to visit ( nuraghe) and many restaurants where you can eat local food. The best pizza you can eat here is at Papè Satan restaurant, which I personally love! For a different night in the city you can take a stroll at the city’s harbor and also watch a movie underneath the stars, at the city’s outdoor cinema! To top the night off, you can dance the rest of the night away at the city’s local disco called Estasi’s, which is only 5 min away from the city by car or taxi!

Capotesta beach is the best place to go when there is too much wind: it has a two-sided beach, one of which has always crystoclear water no matter the wind! Going further after the village, there is a very cool and nice bar on the rocks (bar martini lounge & restaurant), facing the water, where you can get happy hour and an amazing landscape during sunset! Also a nice lighthouse which is the best spot to watch the sunset from, also around which there are cute little beaches which are not touristy.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia, the “Bahamas” of Sardinia, only 1.5 hrs from La Marmorata. Perfect for a day trip kind of day, you’ll fall in love with the amazing water and the fact that you can walk in the water for meters and meters alongside the beach!

Only 15 mins to reach the Palau harbor and to get the ferry to get to the island. An island with amazing beaches, you can visit the historic center, have lunch and dinner at typical restaurants and take a tour of the beaches by renting a motorbike, a boat or by getting on a ferry! I recommend visiting the island as it is an iconic spot to visit and also for people who love snorkeling

Sports and movida

Beach full of bars and movida on the beach! The best spot to windsurf and kitesurf, as well as trying these two sports out if you have never tried it! Makes it for a very fun day for young people and for families as well! At happy hour time there are so many bars full o f people form the windsurf and kitesurf schools and instructors as well as tourists on the beach and every Thursday night at Rupi’s there is a party on the beach!

Neighbourhoods

This is the village where our apartment is. Very nice and quiet and right in front of the beach! There is also a very nice bar in the village with a huge balcony/patio and an amazing view! Mariangela and Massimiliano, the owners of the bar are very good friends and will make you feel welcomed right away! There is also a mini market, and the beach of the village also has its own little mini bar to provide you with beach food and drinks should you not want to go back up at home to get something you need!

Another city close to our village, a little bit smaller than Santa Teresa, with very cute handmade shops and places to eat!
