The Henson is a great, local pub with good food and drinks. It's very family friendly with a designated kids play area and kids menu. I love the barramundi with chips & vegetables or the 'dirty bird'.

One Penny Red is a gorgeous, more upmarket local restaurant with delicious food and great service. Downstairs is the restaurant and upstairs is a great bar. Start at the Spit Bridge and take the track to Manly Beach. It's a beautiful 9km track through the bush with stunning coastal views. You can catch a bus back to the Spit from Manly.
