Located in the heart of the Mossman River in the Daintree Rainforest, the Mossman Gorge is a beautiful natural swimming hole and is a must do. There are multiple tours available, as well as an extensive walking track in which showcases some of the best parts of this historic rainforest. Located a 15-minute drive from Port Douglas, this attraction is a bit hard to get to without a car, however there are some bus companies which do drop offs and pick-ups.

There are multiple tours available, as well as an extensive walking track in which showcases some of the best parts of this historic rainforest. Enjoy a cocktail and Italian tapas or pizzas at the bar or sit down in the restaurant for a 3-course meal and your favourite wine. Either way Sassi’s is a must-do! They also do a killer coffee made by an Italian master, take your keep cup or sit in and enjoy.

These include Barbados Cocktail bar, Hemingway’s Brewery and Lurè Bar and Restaurant, all of which provide great locations for watching the sunset, eating dinner or just enjoying an afternoon drink. (Mentioned in order of price - high to low). There is also Choo Choo’s café which is great for breakfast and is located in the station for the Bally Hooley, a local steam train which does joyrides around town.
