Extraordinary Food, Vibrant Taste, Like Aladdin’s food cave down the Alley. Banh Xeo is a Vietnamese pancake and this place has free flow crunchy yellow pancakes filled with pork, shrimp and vegetables, wrapped with rice paper and fresh herbs and leaves. Combined with as many BBQ pork sticks as you can eat. You access the restaurant down an alley of the main road, AND its busy, noisy, if you want peace and quiet this wont be the place for you. You have to make some effort, Eat with your fingers, shout and wave for service and for more food. Its no frills, there will be food and debris on the floor, BUT the food taste is fantastic - textures and tastes abound. And its very inexpensive. One of my favourite meals in Vietnam.

If you can avoid the allure of the over-priced, hit and miss Seafood restaurants on Da Nang’s beach front (and there are somegood ones), check out Tre Viet. Another personal favourite, great atmosphere and great seafood food, on the river. The entrance is set a little back from the main road so look carefully.
