Nai Harn Beach is a nice stretch of beach, more of a local beach. There is a big lake situated near the beach with a few restaurants.

Rawai/Nai Harn area has many local beaches well worth a visit. There are some seafood restaurants worth visiting.

Kata/Karon area consits of 3 beaches, kata noi beach, a smaller beach, kata beach and karon beach (long stretch of sand). The area is quiter than patong but still has many tourists. Kata has a nice smaller feel to it. There are many restaurants, bars and surf school.
