Places to eat in Castine only. Most other restaurants are at least a 20 minute drive. Also, off season (Spring, Fall and Winter) these may be closed or have limited hours. Please check online (or ask us) for accurate hours.

Witherle Woods is a preserve maintained by Maine Coast Heritage Trust with more than 6.5 miles of trails. Witherle Woods has a rich military history, offers pleasant views of Penobscot Bay, and features groomed cross-country skiing trails in the winter.
