Favorite scenic hike
Enjoy the beautiful Cache National forest with endless trails and hiking!
Take the beautiful 20 minute drive up to the base of the Bloomington Lake Trail head. The 30-40 minute intermediate 1.1 mile hike will take you passed two small scenic lakes, forests and streams. As you arrive, beautiful Bloomington Lake is nestled against shear cliffs and sharp mountain peaks. A huge double pine rope swing entices many to take the plunge into the brisk and crystal clear mountain lake.
Tips to enjoy the most amazing experience possible.
1. Off road vehicles require Idaho Registration.
2. A bathroom is located at the base of the trail head.
3. A small access fee may be required.
4. Dogs should be leashed at all times.
5. Swim shoes recommended.
6. Weekdays are less crowded.
7. Swing and swim at your own risk. No life guard on duty.
8. Ground trail is uneven at times and you will cross a large fallen tree at the end of the trail.
9. Kayaks are work but amazing on this beautiful lake.
10. Do not litter and pick up litter left by others to make our beautiful Bloomington lake stay amazing for all our visitors!

With ample parking, take the very short trail the the Paris Ice Cave entrance. Don't forget to take a warm jacket and flash light!
