Located north from our house. Castle with small garden center and café open during summer. You can buy meat from their farm and around the castle you can stroll in the park and have a walk in the lush forest.

This mystical early iron-age monument consists of 59 massive boulders arranged in a 67 metre-long outline with a magnificent view over Österlen’s hilly landscape and the Baltic Sea. No one knows who erected this megalithic monument around 1,400 years ago, or why. Just below you have a fishing village where you can have lunch or coffee.

Then, head to the farm shop to indulge in a treat made from these local products. You can also take home jams and other goodies made from their farm-grown fruits.

Ystad has a charming cobble main street full of brightly coloured buildings. The town is famous for the Greyfriars Abbey, one of the most well preserved medieval monasteries in Sweden. A 25 min drive from the house or 18 min with train from Skurup Station.

Often, these houses have elaborately crafted wooden front doors adorned with roses.
Kivik is a locality situated in Simrishamn Municipality, Skåne County famous for its apple orchard. Shop at Kiviks Musteri and don’t miss their beloved apple market in September. On the way back to the house have a stop at famous Mandelmanns Trädgårdar for a coffee, a family-owned organic farm open for visitors during the summer.
