Awesome bar + dinner place, a bit on the more expensive side but the atmosphere is great! Gastown is a great area (a short cab ride away) and I highly recommend checking out the area!

Incredible sushi with a lot of interesting twists. Vancouver itself has incredible sushi but this is a personal favourite. More on the expensive end.

GREAT food, second to Chill Winston one of my favourite restaurants. Huge plus that its in a very beautiful neighborhood. Awesome choice for any meal, especially brunch and dinner.

The BEST sushi I've found in Vancouver and it's very cheap. Anything on the menu will be great, the sashimi is especially great here!

AMAZING for breakfast or dinner. A little more upscale but not too expensive. Incredible food and incredible environment. If you go and you like calamari that is a must. They also have very unique specialty drinks! Make sure to make reservations early. Also great for brunch

Yaletown Brewing is great for happy hour (3-6pm M-F & Sundays) and late nights. Full of young professionals from young 20s to 30s. On weekend nights there is usually a line starting around 11pm. Highly recommend for a nice bar to meet some locals and have some great beer! $10 pizzas and $5 beers during happy hour times!

One of the oldest buildings in Vancouver houses some awesome exhibits. If you are venturing down to Robson Street, I highly recommend seeing what is showing and popping in for a look.

Great for families - a fun outdoor park with a large suspension bridge in the middle of the forest. I often take friends here! There is a bus that you can take from Waterfront station

If you have a car, I highly recommend a day trip/half-day trip up to whistler. The drive is incredible and there is a lot to see in Whistler itself. If you are coming in Winter/Spring skiing or at least going to see the ski hills is very very very worth the drive!

This is the closest sky train station, about a 5 minute walk from the apartment. You can use this to get to/from the airport and around the city
